Why do we need to
keep fit?
We need to keep fit so we can live quality lives. Humans were historically hunter, who needed to be strong and fit to survive. Today technology and fast food have made us more sedentary .There are several consequences of not exercising which is obesity, diabetes, heart disease, cancer and high mortality rates. People who don't exercise are more prone to illness and earlier death than those who do. If we want to enjoy our modern life, it's up to us to maintain good health and keeping fit is one way to do so.
Benefits
Exercise burns calories, which leads to weight loss. It can also build muscle and strength. Exercise can fight chronic disease by preventing high blood pressure and regulating cholesterol levels. It can strengthen your bones and improve your overall appearance
Types
There are three basic types of exercises for improving fitness which is cardiovascular exercise, strength training and flexibility
